JOINT LETTER: LIBRARY RESOLUTION

This is a joint letter written to the community from the president of the Bandera Kronkosky Library board and the head pastor of a local church. Members from both of our organizations met last Wednesday afternoon to discuss the rumors and discordance of recent days.

No one in the leadership of the church started, spread, or endorsed the rumors concerning library activity. The church, the library and the mayor have all suffered from the unfounded rumors started by an unknown person. No one in any leadership position of either organization bear any ill will toward the other organization.

We are united in our efforts to work to improve the lives of the people of Bandera. Our organizations do not stand alone in this. Bandera is fortunate to have many groups working towards the same goal.

Many of the people who work to better Bandera are volunteers, or underpaid professionals. We would not have the community we have without the selfless work of so many.

If we create conflict where there is none, people will not step up to do the work needed. Please join us in keeping Bandera the wonderful place that it is.
