Cadets from the Bandera High School Navy JROTC loaded a bus and traveled to Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio for April 23’s Great Texas Airshow, where they were treated to flight demonstrations of military aircraft spanning from WWII to the US Air Force Thunderbirds Flight Demonstration Team. Static displays allowed them the opportunity to view and even go inside airplanes while interacting with aircrew. The event included traditional festival elements like funnel cake, a variety of food options, and freebies given out by local companies such as H-E-B and Black Rifle Coffee.
