Festival highlights artists

Thirty-eight artists will be highlighted this Saturday, September 18, at the ninth annul Comfort Art Festival.

Scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the open-air event will be held in Comfort’s Downtown Historic District, which is located near Comfort’s shops, restaurants, wineries and distillery.

Artists will be displaying their art and showcasing their techniques in a wide range of mediums including oils, watercolors, photography, pottery, fused glass and jewelry.

The event is hosted by the Comfort Merchant Association.
