RAIN NO PROBLEM FOR RODEO
Rodeo fans filled the bleachers in Mansfield Park last Friday for another great show featuring a cast of cowboys and cowgirls of all sizes.
A short rain did not stop this very popular event with local and visiting folks.
Hosted by Riding on Faith Rodeo, the event showcased participants riding and getting thrown by bulls, who were prodded by clowns to make them even more rambunctious.
Other events included Barrel Racing, Break Away Roping, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, Bull Riding and Mutton Bustin.
The latest entry in Riding on Faith Rodeo’s summer series also featured a guest performance from Summer & Co Fearless Equine Stunts.
Summer and her daughters, age four and six, performed for crowds at both the Friday and Saturday rodeos.
At one point in the rodeo, two of bulls decided they just didn’t want to go home, just not yet.
At different times, each bull went to the far part of the arena and stopped for a few minutes as the audience laughed at the standoff between bulls and cowboys and clowns.
