Brewery hosting Uvalde benefit
Proceeds from an event at Bandera Brewery this Saturday and Sunday will go directly to Uvalde families impacted by last week’s mass shooting at Robb Elementary School.
Bandera Brewery Co-Owner John Oliver says that Texas breweries, including Pint and Plow, Cibolo Creek, Guadalupe Brewring Company and Basement Brewers, will be on sight in a collaborative event to raise money.
Oliver says he expects other breweries to join.
Proceeds from the weekend’s event will be delivered to the First State Bank of Uvalde, who has set up a Robb Elementary School Memorial Fund.
Those wishing to donate directly to the fund can do so by visiting any First State Bank directly, mailing a check to the bank, which is located at 200 E. Nopal St. Uvalde, Texas, 78801, or sending a Zelle to robbschoolmemorialfund@gmail.com.
Bandera Brewery is located at 3540 Hwy 16 S. They are open 2-10 p.m. on Saturday and 12-4 on Sunday.
