With the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo just around the corner (Feb. 5-11),

Members of the Cowboy Capital Trail Riders held a “Warm-Up” ride last Saturday, January 22.

Riders of all ages went from the Twin Elm Dude Ranch to TJ’s at the Forge eatery with a stop at St. Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church.

Trail Boss Dan Searcy said the ride was a success and all went well.

“We had about 30 riders and wagons on the way through town, and a lot of folks stopped to take photos,” he said.”We’re looking forward to the long five-day ride from Bandera to San Antonio.”

Searcy said this is his second year as trail boss but his first time to go as the top person because the event was not held last because of COVID-19.
