Easter parade approved by city
Last week, the Bandera City Council approved a facility use agreement for the use of Bandera City Park for an Easter Parade.
The Easter Parade, sponsored by the Bandera General Store, First Baptist Church of Bandera and the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce, will feature awards for the best Easter bonnet and the best fedora Hat. Afterwards, there will be an egg hunt at First Baptist Church. The parade will be held at City Park on Saturday, April 8, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The egg hunt is at 12:00 p.m.
James Hernandez, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, told the Bulletin, “We are thankful that Glen Mc-Comb from the Bandera General Store asked us to help organize the Easter Parade. We all benefit greatly from our tourism- related events, however the General Store has a history of creating fun and seasonal events for our locals. The Easter Parade at City Park, followed by the Easter Egg Hunt at First Baptist Church Bandera will give our local families a fun way to get out and celebrate Easter together!”
