Memorial Day events approach

The Bandera County Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Memorial Day Stampede this weekend, May 27-28.

Saturday morning, the 11 a.m. Memorial Day Parade on Main Street will be followed by the Stampede Memorial Day Arts & Crafts Show on the Bandera County Courthouse lawn.

The market will also be held Sunday.

Three nights of Professional Rodeo sanctioned rodeos are set to take place in the historic Mansfield Park Arena.

On May 26-28, gates open at 6 p.m., followed by the Grand Entry starting at 8 p.m.

The Bandera Pro Rodeo Memorial Day Stampede Rodeo is the only PRCA rodeo of the year.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults, and $6 for children ages 6-12. Active military, veterans with valid ID, and kids 5 years old and under are free.
