Movie hosting nationwide casting call

A new major feature film is looking for actors in a nationwide casting call.

The movie, which has the working title “1975 Music Therapy Film” is looking to cast paid, speaking roles for various characters in the film.

“The film’s director is committed to finding original and authentic new talent, and is therefore open to those with little or no acting experience,” read a press release from Kate Antogini, the film’s casting director.

Antogini says the roles up for grabs include characters who have an affinity for music, and there is a special focus on finding musicians with “particularly distinctive looks and personalities.”

Production is expected to start in Fall of 2022. Travel and accommodations will be provided for all out-of-state talent. Pay will be union scale.
