New COVID death reported

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has attributed a new death in Bandera County to COVID-19, bringing their death count since 2020 to 78.
Vaccinate Bandera told the Bulletin they won’t immediately be updating their billboard on Hwy 16 S, which shows a death count of 77.
“We will have on opportunity to update the billboard during our year lease, at six months. It will be updated then,” said Project Manager Levin Crawford.
New cases of COVID-19 in the county are down slightly from the previous week, with Bandera County Emergency Management reporting 25 new confirmed cases.
To date there have been 2,759 cases of COVID-19 cases in Bandera County and 1,145 probable cases, according to DSHS.
