PRESENTATION HIGHLIGHTS WANDERWELL

The Kimble County Historical Museum recently gave a presentation at the Medina library about Aloha Wanderwell, who became the first woman to circumnavigate the globe by car. She began the journey at the age of 16. From 1922 to 1927, she traveled 380,000 miles across 80 countries. She would film a 32-minute silent film documenting a ceremonial dance of the Bororo tribe in Brazil. Courtesy Photo
