SPIN YOUR PARTNER ‘ROUND AND ‘ROUND

The San Antonio Area Square and Round Dance Association performs last Saturday night at the sold-out Eighth Annual Cork and Fork Event benefiting the Arthur Nagel Community Clinic.

“It takes an army of staff, board, and volunteers to produce Cork & Fork every year,” said Chuck Lutke, Nagel Clinic Executive Director. “Everybody rolls up their sleeves beginning in August to set it all in motion. I could not be prouder of the final result and our number show audiences appreciate it also. The generous donors to our live and silent auctions are a huge part of the success and we are so grateful to them. The fact that the entire evening is presented without the benefit of rehearsal is a tribute to our performing artists, emcee, auctioneer, and others behind the scenes.”

Next year’s event, scheduled for November 11, is titled Amazing Grace and will feature a celebration of traditional American Gospel Music.
