Summer rodeo series kicking off

The Riding on Faith Summer Rodeo Series kicks of June 4 and will run through August 6 every Friday night at Mansfield Park.

Ticket price is $7 for anyone age seven and up for the event, which will feature bull riding, barrels, team roping, breakaway roping, tie down roping, mutton busting and calf scrambles.

Gates open at 6:00 p.m. every night; rodeo starts at 8:00 p.m.

Since the event is BYOB, ice chests are allowed, but glass is not.

Attendees may bring their own lawn chairs or sit in the bleachers.
