HENRY MARVIN HEINEN
Henry Marvin Heinen, 81, of Medina, passed away on Monday, July 18, in Bandera. He was the rock of the family, a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend to many. Born in Tarpley to Frank and Hazel Heinen January 12th, 1941, and married to Patsy Kathleen Bauerlein on April 5th, 1963, he lived a long, full life. Heinen started his career as a lineman at Bandera Electric Cooperative and retired as the Outdoor Operations Manager after 44 years. He was also a member of the Medina School Board.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Hazel, his wife, Patsy, and brothers Bobby, Claude, and Billy.
Henry is survived by his son, Steve (and wife, Kim) Heinen and daughter, Pam Heinen; his sisters Eva Hebert, Jo Carey, and Edie Stewart; Grandchildren: Ashley, Troy, and Logan; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Grimes Funeral Home in Bandera on Wednesday, July 27. Visitation at 9 am, with the service at 10 am. The graveside service will be held at Oak Rest Cemetery, and a luncheon for the family and close friends at the Medina Community Church to follow.
Pallbearers will be Troy Heinen, Logan Heinen, Darrell Carter, John Brown, Kelly Rambin, and Bill Reed.
