Bulldogs fall to Canyon Lake
The Bandera Bulldog Baseball team concluded their series with Canyon Lake with two disappointing losses.
After being rained out on Tuesday, April 19, the Bulldogs traveled to Canyon Lake on Wednesday to face the Hawks.
“The boys continued to play good baseball making plays on defense supporting good pitching performances from Pat Cizek, Carson Powers and Barrett Waid,” said Coach Cody Fields. “Unfortunately, Canyon Lake had a walk off single in the bottom of the 7th inning to win the game 6-5.”
The Bulldogs wrapped up their series against Canyon Lake on Friday at home. Canyon Lake jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the 1st inning off a couple of hits and errors.

“Defensively, the boys had some good plays but also had some errors that impacted the game overall. Bandera looked to bounce back with some hits of their own but could not come through,” said Fields.
