Two Bandera County students were recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, which describes itself as the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.
They are Lisa Gherman of Bandera at Texas Woman’s University and Dillon Sparks of Lakehills at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
They are among approximately 30,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year, a news release from the organization said.
Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter.
