Bennie Honaker, 85, passed away on April 3, 2020 peacefully at his home in Pipe Creek. He was born in Fork Ridge, Virginia to Dewey Honaker and Mattie Brown on March 5,1935. He married Fay Childs Johnson on July 17,1982 in San Antonio, Texas. He left Garden High School in Oakwood, Virginia to join the military and received his GED and other schooling in the Air Force. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
