K’STAR Inc’s Youth and Family Services is offering free counseling services to families in Bandera County and around the area, said Program Director Gina Castilleja.
“As our rural communities enter another month of COVID-19 social distancing, school children and families have been greatly impacted,” the director said. “Communities are worried about the impact of graduation ceremonies, children are missing peer interaction and administrations are working hard to be innovative.”
Castilleja said this situation has caused additional stress for families, and the nonprofit K’STAR organization based in Kerrville wants to help.
