Hundreds of adults and children, dressed in a wide-ranging variety of costumes and colorful outfits, flocked to Bandera City Park last Saturday for the third annual Nightmare on Maple Street, which featured some modifications from past events.
Hosted by the Bandera Marshal’s Office, this year’s Halloween event was moved to the west end of the park around the large circle to allow more space for visitors and vendors and to help follow COVID-19 protocols.
There was no food service or bounce houses this year, a departure from previous festivities brought about by COVID-19 safety precautions.
