In a rousing show of sportsmanship and support, junior Nathan Aguilar was carried off the field by Medina Bobcats athletics staff and teammates following a hamstring injury during Medina’s season-capping game against Nueces Canyon.
“He’s doing great and is going to heal up just fine” said head football coach Kurt Nichols.
Nichols said that Aguilar’s injury cut the team’s rushing in half. The Bobcats would lose the game 63-18.
