Last year’s free Community Thanksgiving Meal fed more than 350 people at the Lakehills Civic Center (LHCC), serving as a mirror of the close-knit Lakehills and Medina Lake area community and its friendly, neighborly spirit. COVID-19 threatened to stop the event this year, but the community is making it happen on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Meals are available for in-person dining at socially distanced indoor and outdoor tables, takeout and delivery to those unable to leave their homes.
