In an earlier football schedule, Medina was set to face Bracken Christian on the road on Friday, Sept. 6. The schedule changed, however, to have powerhouse Leakey playing Friday’s game against the Bobcats at home . It only took the Eagles a half to win 45-0, with the game called at halftime under University Interscholastic League’s mercy rule. Bobcat Head Football Coach Kurt Nichols said the one-side game showed a number of areas Medina needs to correct and improve on, including fundamental skills like blocking and tackling.
