Just weeks after celebrating its third anniversary, Bandera Ale Project has hit a new milestone: a name upgrade.
The location, just five minutes south of downtown Bandera will now be known as Bandera Brewery.
Co-owner and General Manager John Oliver said the business had originally shied away from using the name to avoid confusion with Bandera Brewing, which was copyrighted by someone else.
“We’ve become enough of an established name, so that’s not really an issue anyway,” he said. “We are no longer a project. We are Bandera Brewery.”
