The Eight Annual Cowboy Mardi Gras Bull and Mini Bull Riding event will be held this Saturday, Feb. 6 at Mansfield Park Rodeo Arena. Gates open at 3 p.m. and will feature multiple categories of competition. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages six to 12, and those five and under are free. The event was started by the late Dan Riggle, and Charles and Dawn Oldham of Diamond 0 Bucking Bulls to promote the cowboy way of life. “This rodeo has become more successful every year, and we will continue to hold this every year during Bandera’s Mardi Gras celebration.
