The Lakehills Area Library will host a writing workshop sponsored by Texas Writes on Sept. 28 featuring presentations from two accomplished writers – poet Naomi Shihab Nye and author Donna M. Johnson. Nye will lead a presentation titled “You are Living in a Poem” focusing on ways to live a life filled with more poetry, and Johnson will focus on character development in a talk titled “Writing Memoir: How to Turn People into Characters.” Guests will have an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers to learn more about the craft of writing and the life of writers.
