The Grand Opening of the Best Western Bandera Suites and Saloon drew over a hundred visitors on Tuesday, April 13.
From 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., the hotel offered guests Western storytelling, free wagon rides, pictures with Redneck the Longhorn, hotel tours, a display of Western memorabilia and refreshments.
The hotel partnered with the Frontier Times Museum, the Bandera Cowgirls, the Brothel Babes of Bandera and the Bandera Cattle Company gunfighters to provide local color for the ceremony.
At 5:00 PM, the crowd gathered in front of the 46-room hotel on Main Street to officially cut the red ribbon and open the hotel.
