Utopia students graduate

The Utopia High School Class of 2021 graduated and went out into the world following the commencement ceremony held the evening of Saturday, May 22.

There were 12 graduates from Utopia high school this year: Otto Arnim, Christian Cervera, Sabrina Guevera, Kyler Keeney, Will Massa, Kayley Phiilipe, Natalie Radicke, Celsey Sheedy, Riley Smothers, Christopher Umscheid and Kayleen Weaver.

Ms. Weaver was the class valedictorian and Mr. Keeney was the salutatorian.

The ceremony was originally planned to be held outdoors but was moved inside to the school competition gym due to weather concerns, and it wasn’t the only graduation held that day.

Utopia ISD’s eight grade class officially became high school freshmen earlier that afternoon at the graduation/promotion ceremony.

Through August 8, office hours for Utopia ISD will be Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The office will be closed the week of July 5-9.
