October will be a busy month at the Bandera County Public Library. The Artist of the Month is Veronica Ordaz Collazo, who has Ph.D. in counseling psychology, is a resident of Tarpley and has been painting for almost six years. She paints a variety of subjects representing different cultures and ethnicities and recently created some abstract art. She views painting as a cathartic vehicle that facilitates an outlet for creativity and relaxation. Some of her works will be offered for sale.
