Shea posts bond following fourth juvenille sexual assault charge
Michael Shea, 19, of Lakehills, surrendered himself to authorities on June 25 after being indicted by a grand jury in May for sexual assault of a child.
Shea posted a $50,000 bond and was released.
This was Shea’s fourth charge of sexual assault, having been arrested January 2021 on three charges of sexual assault of a juvenille.
According to Chief Deputy Matt King, a thirteen-year-old female said Shea, then 18, had sexually assaulted her in the summer of 2020.
Investigation revealed that in addition to the thirteen-year-old, two other juvenile females accused Shea of sexually assaulting them.
Shea was arrested January 25, 2021, for aggravted sexual assault and two charges of sexual assault.
Shea posted bond totaling $175,000 for the three charges and was released.
“All charges are pending prosecution,” said King.
