Tarpley’s Monier receives H&R Block award
Katherine Monier, a Tarpley resident who works at the H&R Block office in Bandera, was recently awarded the 2021 Henry Bloch Excellence in Client Service Award.
Monier was one of 33 company and franchise associates to be given the annual award, which according to a press release is only given to an elite group of H&R Block tax professionals who demonstrate great expertise and exceptional client care.
Award winners were selected for living H&R Block’s Purpose, which is to provide help and inspire confidence in our clients and communities everywhere, and for demonstrating company behaviors like Customer-Centric and Better Together. It recognizes H&R Block and Block Advisors tax office associates across the nation for exemplary client service, tax expertise, as well as demonstrating a commitment to solving problems and advocating for clients.
“Kate was nominated for this prestigious award due to her consistent commitment to actively listen to each client's tax situation, provide personalized tax advice and help clients with strategic planning for the future,” read a press release from the company. “She excels at problem solving, educating clients in regards to their tax situation, and resolving IRS issues for clients.”
The company award is named in honor of Henry W. Bloch, co-founder and honorary chairman of H&R Block.
Katherine has been with H&R Block for 4 years, serving as Enrolled Agent and Master Tax Advisor. She lives on the family ranch with her husband, John, and son, Frederick.
