Biker rally donates to Boys and Girls club
The Boys and Girls Club of Bandera County announced today after the most recent Bikers Rally held at Mansfield Park, that the Bill Taber with the Biker Rallies of Texas and the organization he represents decided to donate a check for $2500.00 to benefit the programs of the local Boys &
Girls Club.
“It’s fantastic to get local support from such a name-worthy organization who recognizes
that we contribute to the youth of Bandera County in our daily
Programs,” Amy Ouellette, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club, stated.
Oulette added the club has worked hard over the last few years to improve programs and services designed to keep youth in school and make them good citizens.
“There is simply no way we could succeed here locally for our kids without the support of local businesses and organizations, and we are proud to use this donation for the betterment of our local youth,” she said.
Taber said the donation was made to ensure their is a positive future for the Bandera community.
“We are proud to be able to a part of the growth of local youth as they strive to be the best that they can be.”
Joey Bess, President of the Boys & Girls Club of Bandera said Taber’s sentiments line up with the club’s vision.
“Bill’s sentiments fall directly in line with what we strive to do every single day here at the Boys and Girls Club; to promote a positive impact for the future of our Boys & Girls Club member youth. To be recognized by this group on their 20th Anniversary makes it even more special.”
