Parade seeking entires
Applications are being accepted for the upcoming Memorial Day Parade, with the application process closing May 23 at 5 p.m.
A maximum of 150 entries will be accepted.
The theme for this year’s parade is “Never Forgotten” and honors those men and women that paid the ultimate sacrifice with their service to our country.
The parade starts at 11 a.m., rain or shine, Saturday, May 28, from Bandera City Park and continues down Main street before turning at Lowe’s and disperse by 11th Street Cowboy Bar.
Judging for the parade floats in four different categories will commence at 10 a.m.
Parade organizers are seeking veterans, veterans organizations, active and reserve service members, current and vintage military vehicles, high school marching bands, middle school bands, scouts, churches, school organizations, community groups, custom-designed floats and local businesses to participate in this year’s parade.
