District announces summer meals
Summer should be a break from study, not good nutrition. Thanks to the Summer Food Service Program and the Seamless Summer option, healthy meals during the summer are available at no cost to all children 18 and younger.
To participate, children may simply show up at the following locations during the scheduled times.
Alkek and Hill Country Elemtary schools will serve breakfast from 8 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. from June 6 to July 29. There will be no meal service on July 1 and 4.
The Boys and Girls Club of Bandera will serve breakfast from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. from June 6 to July 29. There will be no meal service on July 1 and 4.
Bandera Middle School will serve breakfast from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. from July 18-29. There will be no meal service on Fridays.
Bandera High School will serve breakfast from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. from June 6-16. There will be no meal service on Fridays.
