LEGION HOSTING JULY 4 PARADE
The American Legon Post 410 of the American Legion will host its traditional Independence Day celebration in Lakehills on Monday, July 4.
The parade kicks off on Park Road 37 at 11:00 a.m.
A chicken and sausage BBQ will begin at noon, with dine-in or take-out options available.
Live music will commence at the gazebo starting at 1 p.m with live music on the gazebo beginning at 1:00 p.m.
“We expect to have a full return of the great fun we have had in the past at this year’s July 4th Celebration,” said Jim Schledorn, Chairman of the July 4th Celebration Committee. “While we support our community year-round, this is the time where we honor the birth of our country and celebrate with our local friends and surrounding communities this great American holiday mixed with our long-standing local tradition of live music, the parade, and a tasty BBQ”.
Will Evans, Commander of the Lakehills American Legion Post 410, said he is proud to host the longstanding tradition once again.
“It’s always great to see our old friends and meet new ones each year at this event,” he said. “We hope to see as many as we can this 4th.”
