RV park throws July 4 celebration
The Bandera Crossing Riverfront RV Park held its best 4th of July Celebration so far on Independence Day Weekend, according Bryan and Lanellee Evans, who helped put the event together.
Lanelle said she really enjoyed the Movie on the Green event on Saturday, July 2.
“We could set up pillows and small blow-up swimming pools for the kids to use,” she said.
Other fun during the patriotic event included Horseshoes and Cornhole Tournaments and a Golf Cart Parade/Contest.
A planned Firework Cruise/ Hayride was cancelled due to the drought and county’s partial firework ban, organizers said.
Regardless, the two-day event was a good time for those who came, according to folks the Bulletin talked to under the shade of big trees.
Bryan said the 34-acre venue is hoping to BCRRVP is hoping to host a “Rock the River” event in September, as well as other events in the future.
