Parade organizers express thanks

Organizers of the annual July 4 Pet Parade held earlier this month wish to express thanks following their event earlier this month.

A release from the organizers read, “Special Thanks to our sponsor, Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League, Inc., our Judges, our Volunteers, Barrel House Feed Store in Pipe Creek for donating the dog treats, Joyce who made & donated the Doggie Gift Baskets and our Announcers (The Gibson Sisters) who keep it interesting and hilarious - Laurie & Sally. Couldn’t have done it without any of you’ll.”

This year’s parade was the event’s 26th, and it was once again on Independence Day at Bandera City Park.

A variety of awards were given out in several categories, including best in show and most patriotic.
