Weekend Rummage Sale
Find a hidden treasure, useful tool or unique artwork at Sanctus Ranch’s Labor Day Weekend Rummage Sale. Did we mention the sale is conducted inside air-conditioned buildings? The sale will be held Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Sanctus Ranch is located at 2647 River Bluff Circle in Pipe Creek. Fish Fry
Pregame for weekend barbeque at the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry at St. Joseph’s Hall. The event begins at 5 p.m. and goes until the food is sold out – and chances are high that it will! Head to Cedar and Seventh Street across from St. Stanislaus.
Music at 11th Street
Bandera’s famous cowboy bar has a packed music lineup from Friday to Monday including Ricky Adams, Mark Stewart, Jeff Woolsey and the Dance Hall Kings, Bob Stewart and more! Tickets and full lineup available at 11THSTREETCOWBOYBAR.COM. The venue is located at 307 11th Street in Bandera.
Labor Day Parade
Labor Day weekend officially kicks off in Bandera with Longhorns marching down Main Street – and that’s just the start of Saturday’s parade. The entries will start making their way from Bandera City Park down Main Street and back at 10 a.m. Stick around for arts and crafts, vendors and live music on the courthouse lawn as part of Bandera Round Up on Saturday and Sunday!
Weekend Rodeos
Head to Mansfield Park Saturday and Sunday for a proper Bandera rodeo presented by Bandera ProRodeo! Saturday features a Ranch Rodeo produced by Tiple R Rodeo, and Sunday features a Women’s Ranch Rodeo and Kid’s Mutton Bustin’. Gates open at 6:30, and the fun starts at 8:00 p.m.
Tarpley Labor Day Celebration
Head just over 15 minutes west of Bandera for a parade, BBQ, raffle and auction – all benefitting the Tarpley Volunteer Fire Department. The parade begins at 11, and the festivities follow. Raffle items include a Lyfetime Grill/Smoker, triple-figure gift cards, a Creedmore rifle, UTV and more.
