Knights of Columbus awards scholarships

Knights of Columbus Council 10258 recently awarded Don Cody Memorial Continuing Education Scholarships to four St. Stanislaus parishioners returning to college following their freshman year.

The four students were presented scholarships for demonstrating superior academic performance and volunteering in community, school and church activities at their college campus.

Scholarships were given to Jesse Zimmel, attending UT-San Antonio and majoring in Civil Engineering; Francesca Byrd, attending Angelo State University and majoring in Nursing; Ryan Zimmel, attending Texas A&M University and majoring in Business; and Logan Dybowski attending Tabor College (Hillsboro, KS) and majoring in Criminal Justice.

The Don Cody Memorial Continuing Education Scholarship is an annual award made available through the donation provided by the Don Cody family and intended to provide scholarships for continuing education to returning trade school and college students.
