Medina woman turns 90

Longtime Medina resident Loma Gabrielson celebrated her 90th birthday with friends and family last Saturday, November 12, at the Medina Community Church’s Fellowship Hall. Born and raised in Medina, the nonagenarian’s family was one of the founders of the town’s Methodist church.

She is also a member of the Rose Garden Club of Medina.

The best thing about living in Medina, reports Mrs. Gabrielson, is the people. “I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” she remarked.

The community and church came out to help Mrs. Gabrielson celebrate her birthday.

“Medina has a lot of love for its people,” she said.
