The Bandera High School Cross Examination (CX) Debate team finished with multiple honors at UIL District Competition last Wednesday, Jan. 18. Eight teams participated in the competition; Bandera qualified to semifinals, finals and the consolation round. The senior team of Elijah Sarazua and Katelyn Mendez (pictured right) won first place against Wimberley in a 3-0 decision, qualifying them to compete at the UIL State contest in March. This is their fourth year of debate and second state qualification.
