BRYCE LEE BENTON SR.

On Saturday June 24, 2023, Bryce Lee Benton Sr., a beloved husband and father, passed away at 69 years old. He was born to Mike and Fan Benton on May 5, 1954, in Corpus Christi, TX. Bryce was proceeded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers Charles and John Benton. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Bryce was a musician at heart and spent much of his life playing in various bands, including some worship bands. He was a follower of Christ and was involved in various ministries. He wore many hats as a savvy entrepreneur and traveled the country fulfilling many self-taught professional ventures. Throughout his life, he loved hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

Above all, Bryce was a loving husband to his wife Holly, and dedicated father to his sons Bryce Jr., Matthew, Gabe, and Chris, as well as his daughters Trystè, Nikki, and Christie. He worked hard to make sure all of his children felt love and were provided for. He often coached his sons in sports and passed on his love for music as well. He was grateful for his double lung transplant and was passionate about others being given the same opportunity. He ensured his compassion for others extended further by donating his body to medical research.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bryce’s memory to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
