Early in January, Bandera Girls Soccer team traveled to Pleasanton and competed in the 2020 Battle in the Brush Country Soccer Tournament. It played six games in three days, finishing fourth in pool play and came home with the Silver Division Runner-Up Trophy. The girls showed a lot of heart in those three days, playing together and for each other. Goalie Madison DeLanghe tallied 34 saves in 4.5 games, giving up 7 goals, while goalie Bietzel Gonzalez collected 8 saves in 1.5 games and gave up 6 goals.
