The Bandera County Democratic Party will host a public meeting and potluck lunch on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Silver Sage, 803 Buck Creek.
Speakers include Gabrien Gregory, a delegate at the Democratic National Convention, Dr. Kristin Hook, a U.S. House candidate from South Texas, and Joe Herrera, running for Texas House District 53.
The event will feature discussions on rural issues, education, and border security.
