The annual Bandera Beerfest is set to return Sept 19-22, promising a weekend filled with competitions, craft beer, and community fun.
Taking place at Bandera Brewery, the event is expected to draw locals and visitors alike.
This year’s Beerfest will feature a variety of events, including the popular Stein Hold Contest, Beer Pong Tournament, and a Karaoke Competition.
In addition to the competitive spirit, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy German-inspired food, special beer releases and live music.
“We’re excited to bring the community together for another year of Beerfest,” said Head Brewer Johnny Oliver. “It’s a time to celebrate great beer, good food, and fun competitions.”
One of the festival’s highlights is the Beer & Dessert Pairing with local favorite Minnie Belle Macarons.
Additionally, a portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the Brewery Scholarship Fund, supporting education opportunities for local students. Some events, such as the Yodeling Contest and the Grand Relay, will be by donation to the scholarship fund.
Tickets for competitive events, including the Stein Hold and Beer Pong, are available online, while others, like the yodeling contest, are open to walk-in participants.
The festival will also host a 50/50 raffle and a variety of family- friendly activities, making it a welcoming event for all ages.
“We want everyone to have a great time, whether you’re competing or just enjoying the atmosphere,” events coordinator Liz Cox added. “And of course, it’s a chance to try beer from the only brewery in the county.”
