The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is set to arrive in Bandera on Saturday, Oct. 12, bringing a full day of family-friendly entertainment hosted by the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce.
The festivities will take place on the baseball outfield at the end of Bandera City Park, with the midway opening at 1 p.m.
The midway will feature pony rides, a moon bounce, a giant slide, face painting, and a concession stand.
Two shows under the Big Top are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., each lasting 90 minutes.
This year’s performances include the 2024 Big Cats show, Aerialist Simone on the trapeze, the 10th generation Loyal Bareback Horse Riders, the Perez Daredevil Duo on the tightrope and Wheel of Destiny, Elizabeth Ayala’s foot juggling and hair-hanging act and circus clown Leo Acton.
Advance tickets are priced at $13 for adults and $8 for children (ages 2-12) and seniors (65 and older).
Tickets can be purchased at the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, the Mercantile on Main, or online.
Same-day tickets at the box office will be $16 for adults and $9 for children and seniors.
