The Medina volleyball team celebrated Senior Night on Friday, Oct. 4, ahead of their district match against Leakey.
The seniors were recognized as they walked through the Bobcat tunnel, with the crowd enjoying each player’s favorite volleyball memories and future plans.
The honorees included Keyshla Roman-Colon, Brooke Mancha, Ella Castillo, Ahnika Grassie, Sienna Carter, and Hallie Kunz.
Following the ceremony, the Lady Cats took the court for a dominant performance, defeating Leakey in straight sets with scores of 25-9, 25-14, and 25-14.
The Class of 2025 shined during the match, with seniors Ella Castillo and Brooke Mancha leading the team with six kills each.
Ahnika Grassie contributed four kills, while Hallie Kunz led with 25 assists and four aces.
Sienna Carter also played a key role, passing a perfect 3.0 to help secure the win.
