Library hosting tea workshop

The Lakehills Area Library Garden Club invites the public to its upcoming program, Grow and Make Your Own Herbal Teas, on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the library’s meeting room.

The Lakehills Area Library Garden Club invites the public to its upcoming program, Grow and Make Your Own Herbal Teas, on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the library’s meeting room.

The workshop will be led by Master Herbalist, author, and off-grid living expert Lynea Weatherly.

Weatherly will discuss how to grow and use both fresh and dry herbs to make healthful teas, as well as how to use Stevia as a natural sweetener.

She will also cover adding herbs to food for both flavor and health benefits.

This event is free and open to the public.
