Texas Salt Co. is set to open its newest venture, The Salt Block, an attraction that will merge a retail experience with local cowboy culture.
The grand opening, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 17, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., will unveil a space dedicated to showcasing the company’s handcrafted salts, seasonings and cowboy-inspired experiences.
Founded by Andrew and Daniel Almand in 2020, Texas Salt Co. boasts being the largest Texas venue for artisanal salts and spices, handcrafted and smoked on-site in Bandera.
The company’s flagship product, Cowboy Salt, which is infused with garlic and rosemary and smoked over Texas pecan wood, has earned them recognition across the state.
The new location at 304 11th Street will not only serve as a retail store but also a hub for experiences. Visitors will have the chance to sample the full line of products, including smoked paprika and Cowboy Kettle Chips, which will be exclusive to the store.
Additionally, Texas Salt Co. has expanded its business to include themed short-term rentals and interactive cowboy experiences, immersing guests in the full “Cowboy Capital of the World” experience.
As part of the celebration, The Salt Block will feature a marketplace where local vendors can showcase their homemade goods.
Texas Salt Co. has gained statewide attention, earning features in publications such as Texas Monthly and Explore Magazine.
