Last Friday, the Bandera Bulldogs football team secured a commanding victory over Pearsall on the road, improving their season record to 5-2 and marking a strong start with a 1-0 record in district play.
The Bulldogs demonstrated teamwork and determination as they took care of business heading into their bye week.
The team’s next challenge is a road game against Devine.
In addition to the football team’s success, the Bandera Middle School cross-country team competed in their final meet of the season on Saturday, Oct. 5, in Bandera.
All 30 athletes performed admirably, with many achieving personal bests.
Several Bulldogs finished in the top 15, earning medals for their outstanding performances.
Notably, both the seventh and eighth grade girls teams secured second place overall.
