Early voting for the 2024 General Election in Bandera County begins Monday, Oct. 21, and runs through Friday, Nov. 1.

Voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballots for various local, state, and federal candidates, including U.S. President, U.S. House of Representatives, Texas State Senate, and local offices.

Early voting will be held at three locations across Bandera County:

• Bandera Ray Mauer Courthouse Annex (403 12th Street)

• Voting hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekends with varying hours.

• Lakehills Area Library (7200 FM 1283)

Voting hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (no weekend voting).

• Bandera County Medina Annex (161 East Parker Street, Medina)

Voting hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (no weekend voting).

Election Day is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. across Bandera County.

Voters must bring a valid photo ID and vote at their designated precinct, as indicated on their yellow voter registration cards.

Bandera County voters will vote on the following positions in addition to federal and state positions:

United States Congress - House of Representatives, District 21 Kristin Hook (Democrat)

Member, State Board of Education, District 1 • Gustavo Reveles (Democrat)

• Michael (Travis) Stevens (Republican)

Texas Legislature - House of Representatives, District 53

• Joe P. Herrera (Democrat)

• B. W. Holk (Libertarian)

• Wes Virdell (Republican)

Texas 4th Court of Appeals

The 4th Court of Appeals has jurisdiction over a 32-county region. For this election cycle:

• Justice, Place 2: Velia J. Meza (Democratic, unopposed)

• Justice, Place 3:

• Cynthia Marie Chapa (Democratic)

• Todd McCray (Republican)

• Justice, Place 4:

• Lori Mase Brissette (Republican)
